Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. First-party cookies are set by Nudgine; third-party cookies or scripts are provided by another service. We also use local storage and session storage, which let the application keep preferences and temporary state in your browser without sending every value as a cookie.

Some technologies are strictly necessary to authenticate users, protect OAuth connections, remember meeting consent, maintain account context, and secure the Services. Others help us understand aggregate usage. The categories actually used by Nudgine are described below.

Essential cookies and storage support requested functionality and security. They do not serve advertisements and cannot be rejected through the analytics banner because the Services may not work correctly without them.

When you follow an eligible Nudgine referral link, Nudgine sets a first-party, HttpOnly nudgine_referral_token cookie. The cookie contains a pseudonymous referral token used to preserve referral attribution through signup or an eligible purchase, calculate a referral reward, and detect duplicate or abusive claims. It is not used for cross-site tracking or targeted advertising.

The referral cookie expires after no more than fourteen days and may be cleared earlier after a verified referral claim. Clearing Nudgine site data before signup or purchase may remove the attribution and prevent the referral from receiving credit.

Nudgine campaign emails use a unique per-delivery token in a small tracking image and in rewritten links. If the image is requested, Nudgine records the first-open time and increments an open count. If a tracked link is followed, Nudgine records the first-click time and increments a click count before redirecting to the intended destination. This helps us measure campaign delivery and engagement and administer communications; it is not used for cross-site advertising.

Email applications may block, proxy, cache, or preload images and links, so these records are approximate and may not reflect a person's actual behavior. The website analytics banner does not control technology embedded in an email. Use the preference or unsubscribe link in a campaign email to stop future optional campaign messages; your email application may also block remote images. Retention is described in the Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics — optional

If Google Analytics is configured, Nudgine shows an analytics-consent banner before loading it. Selecting “Accept analytics” stores the choice in local storage under nudgine-analytics-consent and enables Google Analytics. Selecting “Essential only” stores a denial and Google Analytics is not loaded.

When enabled, Google Analytics receives page path, page origin and path, page title, and technical information ordinarily provided by the browser. Nudgine enables Google's IP-anonymization setting. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers under its own policies. We use these analytics to understand product usage and improve the Services, not for targeted advertising. Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless

Nudgine uses Vercel Web Analytics on most pages to understand aggregate traffic and performance. It is not mounted on the email-verification page. Vercel describes this service as cookieless and designed without persistent cross-site visitor tracking. It may process the visited URL or route, referrer, filtered query information, browser, operating system, device type, and coarse location inferred from the request. Vercel creates a daily visitor identifier and states that the underlying hash is discarded within 24 hours.

Because Vercel Web Analytics does not set analytics cookies in this configuration, the Google Analytics consent choice does not switch it on or off. We use it for our legitimate interest in aggregate, privacy-conscious service analytics. Learn more in Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation.

Nudgine may use Google reCAPTCHA on login, signup, password-recovery, and contact forms to detect automated abuse. The browser sends a verification token and related technical information, which may include IP address and browser signals, to Google. Google may use cookies or local storage under its own policies. reCAPTCHA is treated as a security feature when configured.

Google sign-in, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Notion, Stripe checkout, Daily meeting rooms, and embedded or linked third-party services may use their own cookies or storage when you choose those features or visit their pages. Those technologies are governed by the third party's policy. The Privacy Policy explains the information Nudgine receives and how integrations can be disconnected.

On first eligible visit, use the Nudgine banner to select “Accept analytics” or “Essential only.” To withdraw or change that stored choice, clear site data for nudgine.ai in your browser and reload the page; the banner will appear again if Google Analytics is configured. This banner controls Google Analytics, not essential storage, referral attribution, or technology embedded in campaign emails. Clearing all site data may also remove referral credit, sign you out, and reset theme, meeting, media, calendar, and other local preferences.

Browser settings can block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, OAuth connections, meeting rejoin, saved preferences, or other requested features from working. You may also use browser or network controls that restrict third-party scripts.

Browser Do Not Track signals are not standardized, and Nudgine does not currently respond to them. We will honor legally required universal opt-out signals if our practices later make such signals applicable.

Nudgine does not serve targeted advertising, use advertising-network cookies, sell personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects. If these practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any consent or opt-out required by law before the new practice applies.

We may update this Cookie Policy when the Services, technologies, providers, or law change. The date above shows the latest revision. We will provide additional notice for material changes when required.
